Next up on Sat 16th July one of our favourite venues, The Green Note in Camden, voted best independent music venue in London by the music loving public in 2015. It's cosy & crazy with an electric atmosphere. A rare treat to have Murray Gould back on guitar in between tours with the likes of Eric Clapton, Elton John, Joe Bonamassa. We’re also excited to announce our special guests at The Green Note are the amazing Hussy Hicks, two gals from Australia who are currently touring Europe. This will be the third time Hussy Hicks have joined NTB, if you haven't seen these ladies in action yet make sure you do on this special night, they are super talented. Get your tickets now, we always sell out.
Something something different on a Tuesday Evening - 19th July we’re in the little village of Loxwood. Amazing sax player Simon Bates launched the Loxwood Jazz and Blues Club to raise much needed funds to extend and improve his local village hall. The first night in December 2009 was a sell out and it continues to sell out most months. World class musicians join Simon to provide a variety of highly entertaining evenings. Simon was Nikki's first sax player when she started her career in London, they lost touch, 20 yrs later they bumped into each other at Ronnie Scotts and the rest is history. A world class player who has performed with Chaka Kahn, Bette Midler, Rick Wakeman. We'll be joined on bass by out fabulous rhythm section David Levy on Bass and Richie Newman on drums. They were the rhythm section for both Stevie Marriot and Rory Gallagher. Expect a little Dusty Springfield, Aretha, Carole King and who knows what else ...along with some NTB favourites from their various albums. There is a licensed bar with real ale and the set up of the hall is relaxed, with candlelit tables to create a fantastic atmosphere. Tickets are only £10 each. Click here for tickets and info.
